The TWS Foundation was formed in 2006 to encourage and care for the contributions to support The Theatre of Western Springs in entertaining, educating and inspiring across the generations through the art of live theatre.
By ensuring a continuation of the 80-year-old legacy created by founder Mary Cattell, the Theatre of Western Springs and its Children's Theatre school will retain its position as the leading educational and intergenerational theatrical institution in the Chicago Western Suburbs.
Recognized nationally as one of the few continuously-operating community theatres in the nation, the Theatre of Western Springs boasts a history of solid financials with very strong private support, relying very little on public funding. Artistically, the theatre has been lauded many times by the press, including the Chicago Tribune.

More than 6500 patrons from over 80 surrounding communities support the theatre season, which offers more than 100 performances per year in the 20,000- square-foot building housing a 414-seat mainstage theatre and the 125-seat Cattell theatre.
Charitable giving can significantly benefit your estate planning. It can help maximize the tax advantages now and will support philanthropic interests beyond your lifetime.
