Looking for a Particular Costume or Prop?
One of the benefits of producing 460 plays over 80 years is the accumulation of hundreds upon hundreds of props and costumes, all of which are available to rent.
TWS has acquired some very rare props including a life-size Egyptian sarcophagus. Examples of other props are kitchen appliances from yesteryear, furniture from many decades, beds, rugs, artwork, books, and so much more.
With the help of a very talented and dedicated group of seamstresses, there are many fine and rare costumes representing every period of history. The collection includes almost every kind of clothing from the everyday to the exotic. There are military uniforms, suits of every era, Shakespearean costumes, wedding dresses, coats, fancy hats, shoes, ladies’ undergarments, etc.
