Our High School Rep Summer Stock 2009 production is Sweet Charity. This classic 1960s musical theatre gem follows Charity Hope Valentine—a dance hall hostess—as she searches for love without much luck. Despite her lackluster career at the Fandango Ballroom and her continued bad fortune with men, Charity remains an optimist throughout and inspires even her most pessimistic of friends to look for the sweetness in life.

With such memorable tunes as "Big Spender," "If My Friends Could See Me Now," and "I'm a Brass Band," students and audiences are sure to enjoy this show's wonderful music and message.
