CTWS and the Community

We think that CTWS is a valuable community resource, and we provide many rewarding outreach opportunities that let us interact with children in a wide range of settings. We have frequent overnighters here at the theatre, as well as workshops, Artists in Residence programs, and Trouping shows to schools and organizations. Just give us a call so we can talk about what we can do for YOU.
Here are just some of the outreach opportunities coming up during our 2008-09 season:
School Shows: Bring your group to our theatre for a special performance just for school groups. This year's school performances will be Scrooge on Dec. 4 at 9:30am and 12:30pm and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing on March 5 at 10am and 12:30pm. Call the CTWS office for ticket prices.
Overnighters: See a CTWS Mainstage show and then spend the night. Overnighters include a Q & A with the cast, workshops with the faculty, and lots of fun. Call the CTWS office for available dates. The cost is $40 per participant.
Trouping: Let us bring a play to you! Our trouping program is a perfect way for libraries, park districts, and other groups to bring theatre right to their communities. Trouping performances may be scheduled on most Saturdays from late January to early May. Stay tuned to find out this season's title! The cost is $200 per performance.

| Our Trouping shows are very popular — we'll bring our show to you. Our 2008 Trouping show was Gooney Bird Greene. |
